Virtual Qualifiers Champion

Last night was the climax of the summer virtuals and what a rollercoaster day it was. The virtual championships had 438 entries to create a massive £24,400 prize pool. A massive congratulations to fsmonkey who took the title and the huge £4,245.60 first prize. The 25 points for the win also put fsmonkey into 10th on the final leaderboard to show his win yesterday was no fluke.

Going into the championship we amazingly still had 6 people in contention to top the series leaderboard. Mark White began the day on top by just one point and with just 8 points between the top 5 any finish in the points meant that that person had a good chance to take the crown and that’s exactly what happened. User tothemaxi took second place in the big event to top the leaderboard.

In the series tothemaxi recorded 11 top tens including 2 wins, 2 second places and plenty of prize money. Congratulations on being a very worthy champion.

One final congratulations to all those on our final top 100 leaderboard. It’s been great fun tracking the success of the best virtual players and to see the same names coming out top again and again shows that there is a level of skill to picking a winning team of which to aspire too.
