1) What is your name?

Chris Hill

2) How long have you been on Footstock, how did you hear about it and what is your Footstock related background?

The start of this season. I was on a golf holiday when 3 of the party were talking about footstock. I asked what it was about and fell in love with the idea of having the best of betting, and fantasy football in one game. Also putting my so called football knowledge against others on a week to week basis. I tried football index for a few months but it lacked the quick fix you get from a bet the high of winning and knowing you've won at 6pm on a Saturday. Footstock gave me this fix. I do what most people do every season built that team I thought would win the fantasy football league and forget about it two weeks into the season.

3) What is your portfolio size?

I have 1043 playing cards, I don't really know the true value of all cards but I've invested around £1000.

4) What is your portfolio structure?

The player i have most of is Curtis Jones. (14) I've collected a lot of cards from across the board mainly Midfielders and Strikers. I've built my base on teams, I hold a number of players in every team in the league.

5) What is your strategy?

My plan at the start was to build a strong set of players that could win roulette battles and possibly win money in tournaments. My plan is to get to 2500 cards mostly buying top players from each club and a good amount of 1* players for each team that I brought cheap but can sell on for 20/50p profit. I like to enter tournaments for the buzz and trade week days. Then roulette of course. My main goal is to find the gems that could be amazing value at the moment and shoot up when he gets more game time.

6) What do you like about Footstock?

I love the battle every week with stats of current players and my gut. Do I put in a player that always plays well against that weeks opponent, or do I think outside the box and risk a less known player because I fancy him to do well. The progress Footstock has shown in just a few months give me hope that the platform will grow and grow. The open door policy it has to new ideas and problems. You are made to feel your issue is important to the owners, which is rare. My main aim is the same as everybody else to invest money over a time period and make a small or medium size profit. My plan is to keep on buying players and winning tournaments hoping to be brave enough to compete with the big boys on footstock. And see where the platform is in two seasons.

7) Which players do you presently think are the best value and why?

A very subjective question. I've found a cards value is only that of which you are willing to pay.

I think Firmino (2) is a good card to have as last weekend proved. Come on at in the 27th minute and scored some amazing point.

Tammy Abraham (3) another player that will no doubt keep scoring and prove to be a great card for all collections.

Mason Mount (2) He will when he returns no doubt be a huge player in the prem and for England.

Then there’s Ryan Fraser, Chris Wood, Pepe to name a few players that will win you points and roulette games.

Joe Willock (6) will I'm in no doubt be a great buy now for the future. At 70p a bargain if you ask me.

And of course Curtis Jones (14)

8) What advice would you give a new trader?

Take your time! Set yourself a limit of card buys and money, It is very easy to spend a huge amount of money. Look at the market before you buy a pack. This advice was given to me and I didn't take it and wished I had. Only pay what you think is a good price, should you want to sell on could you sell for 50p or £1 more and be happy with that. Don't try and enter all the tournaments target ones you think you have a good shot at winning. Think outside the box at times no doubt if your first choice is Pepe so is everyone else's. Only put money in you don't mind losing this is gambling after all.

9) What has been your best/favourite roulette win or swap?

My friends and I have a group on social media that we use on a daily basis to share news winnings have side bets (more about bragging rights) some of the wins I've seen there are amazing. Today a lad won Salah with Deulofeu for a 10p spin. Mine has to be Aguero or Firmino. A game of luck I guess.

10) What are you most looking forward to about Footstock?

Watching it grow to challenge the big fantasy football game sites and betting sites. This platform has the potential to be huge with the right foresight and leadership which I'm sure it has. The app will be great when released making more and more people use the platform. The new roulette games are going to be fun.
